Compliance Standards
Our platform is designed to be compliant with GDPR (EU), CCPA/CPRA (USA), and the PIPEDA (Canada) frameworks.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information to provide a better search experience. This falls into two categories:
A. Information You Provide Directly
- Account Information: Name, email, and professional details used to customize your dashboard.
- Payment Information: We use PCI-compliant processors (PayPro Global). We never store your full credit card numbers.
B. Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Metadata: Search queries and feature engagement.
- Technical Data: IP address and browser fingerprint to prevent fraud and bot attacks.
2. How We Use Your Information
We process your data under the following legal bases:
- Contractual Necessity: To manage your account and subscriptions.
- Legitimate Interest: To improve our search algorithms and secure our platform.
- Consent: For marketing communications (opt-out available anytime).
Pro-User Stance
We do not use your saved search results or "My Lists" to train public AI models. Your research remains your competitive advantage.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
BizPlifier does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. Disclosure only occurs with:
- Sub-processors: Essential cloud hosting (AWS/Google Cloud).
- Legal Mandates: If required by valid law enforcement requests.
4. Data Security
We employ enterprise-grade security including AES-256 Encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit.

7. Publicly Available Information & Indexing
BizPlifier acts as a search engine for professional data already published on the open web.
- Data Provenance: We aggregate information from public business registries, professional social networks, and official company websites.
- Removal: If your professional data appears in our results and you wish it to be removed, please use our Opt-Out Form.
9. AI & Automated Decision Making
In accordance with the EU AI Act (2026), we disclose that BizPlifier uses automated algorithms to:
- Categorize business leads by industry.
- Verify the "active" status of professional contact information.
We do not use AI to make "high-risk" decisions (such as credit scoring or employment eligibility).
10. AI Receptionist Data Handling
When AI Receptionist features are enabled for your account, BizPlifier may process additional operational data to provide the service.
- Call Metadata: Start/end time, duration, caller/called numbers (when available), status, and technical event logs.
- Message Intake Content: Caller-provided name, callback number, and message summary captured through assistant workflows.
- Provider Webhook Payloads: Structured event payloads needed for delivery, troubleshooting, billing reconciliation, and abuse prevention.
- Notes and Workflow Data: User/admin notes attached to calls or messages for operational follow-up.
- Appointment Scheduler Data (if enabled): booking intent, requested date/time windows, caller-provided appointment details, and calendar/workflow routing metadata.
- Calendar Connection Metadata (if enabled): provider type, connection label, target identifiers (for example calendar/pipeline IDs), endpoint references, and sync-status metadata.
- Recording Metadata and Files (if enabled): recording URLs, file metadata (size/type/checksum), and locally stored recording files for stream/download workflows.
We process this data to operate the service, secure accounts, reconcile usage/billing, and support incident handling.
Call recording is off by default unless explicitly enabled under your account settings.
Important
You are responsible for meeting any local legal obligations related to call handling notices, recording consent, and customer communications.
11. Team Workspace Data Handling
When Team features are enabled, BizPlifier processes additional account relationship and access-control data to operate shared workspaces.
- Membership Data: Team owner/member mapping, invitation records, acceptance/revocation status, and role changes.
- Permission Data: Member-level settings such as tool access, shared-data access, spending rights, purchase rights, AI usage visibility, and daily limits.
- Activity Logs: Team actions (for example invites, removals, ownership transfer, permission updates, and spend-related events) for audit, security, and dispute handling.
Team owners are responsible for setting permissions appropriately and for lawful handling of team member access and business data.
12. Data Retention
We keep account information as long as your account is active. Inactive accounts (24+ months) are anonymized.
- AI Receptionist operational retention: when an AI subscription is suspended, related operational data may remain available for a limited window (currently up to 45 days) before cleanup workflows execute.
- Webhook and event logs: retained for delivery troubleshooting, billing reconciliation, abuse prevention, and audit obligations, then rotated/cleaned under platform retention controls.
- Recordings add-on retention: retention period is configurable in account setup (default 30 days). If recordings add-on expires or is not renewed, stored recordings may be purged immediately under service policy.
